Course 1: Literary and Philosophical background of Śrīmadbhagavadgītā

Importance of the work, Date and Text, Scriptural Heritage, Commentators and Commentaries, Purport of Śrīmadbhagavadgītā.

Course 2. Select texts of Śrīmadbhagavadgītā

Śrīmadbhagavadgītā Chapter 2 and Chapter 3. Verses and their word to word meaning. Select portions of Śamkara’s Commentary.
